My great grandfather, George Elbert Stinnett, ran a store and owned a house on Hannum Street in Maryville. It has been handed down that he was indentured to work for the plantation near there when he was young. Does anyone know about the plantation - any drawings, photos, or records? The house was still standing when I was young (early 70's), but I do not remember when the store was demolished.
Thanks!

Amy: There is information on the Hannum home/plantation. Check the index of the journal on our website. There is more information on the home as well as drawings. Also have a copy of ____ Hannum that I found in our loose files of clippings and photos. I forgot the first name but I think he was the one that owned the plantation.
