The rest of the Family (genealogy) Files for surnames beginning with "L" have been inventoried and put back in order. The first part of this "L" listing is on a thread dated February 7, 2018. The following is an alphabetical listing with the number of pages in each file and any books/booklets are counted separately in most cases. Leave a message at bcghs@yahoo.com if you want to get a quote to have copies mailed to you. (
New starting with this listing: Surnames that also have a Parham genealogy file are noted with (P). If the number is "0" and (P) is noted, there is only a Parham file. Will E. Parham was a genealogist in Blount County in the 1930s that did research, answered letters and kept genealogy notes.)

Note about the use of the files: The number of pages listed here should be the current total. As discovered during the inventory, some of the pages have been removed between the first and second inventory. As a result of papers being removed, all files must be checked out at the reference desk and a log of check-outs (with name and contact information) are maintained for security. All genealogy materials must be reviewed and kept within the reference area. Please do not attempt to keep copies from the files. We want to preserve these documents for all to use. There is a self-serve copy machine available for your convenience. Thank you for your consideration when using the genealogy files. BCGHS
