See image (click to enlarge). A year's difference on the issuance date (21 Sep 1876) and the marriage date (21 Sep 1877) seems to be a fairly unique difference for records at the time. Most couples were married within a couple of days from the issuance date. Any possible reason for the difference in time? Could this be some sort of transcription error, as the issuance and marriage date is exactly a year apart? An underlying part of this story is that this couple had their first child on 10 Sep 1877, so I'm trying to determine if this birth was in or out of wedlock.
