1 Aug 1907 - M.C. and Lucy Simerly sold to J.C. Anderson 90 acres of property in the Mizer Station area. I am trying to determine the location of this property.
The description in the deed of the corners and boundaries of this property are:
"...situate in DIstrict No. 5, Blount County, Tennessee, bounded as follows: Beginning on a stone in Louisville and Big Springs Road on Melvin COX line thence S.E. with the COX, KEY, and PURKEY line to a stone in Middle of Big road corner to Mike PURKEY and Robert JOHNSTON to the line of Mrs. Mat JOHNSTON thence with the JOHNSTON and WILBURN line to a stake in a fence row..."
I could use some help with the location of "Louisville and Big Springs Road". Did Big Springs Road once run through Friendsville? Might this location be at the current intersection of Quarry Road and Mizer Station Road?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Big Springs Road intersects with 333 to Louisville in Friendsville. Looks like that's just a couple of miles further SW.

Thanks, Dorothy. Are you saying that Hwy 333 would then have been Big Springs Road (where it is currently Mizer Station Road)? Also would Quarry Road have been Louisville Road at some point?
