Have found Solomon previously in Kentucky after leaving his birthplace of NC. Associated with Tippett (Erastus, Erasmus), Solomon married the Tippetts' sister Chloe, likely in Blount on/about 1800. First child of Solomon and Chloe Tippett Asbell was born in TN (according to later census info), also c. 1800, likely in Blount County as Solomon was a taxpayer in Blount in 1800. The only other Blount record is a land transaction in 1802/3 referencing Fouts Valley. Asbell and Tippett are associated with surname Cartwright, and possibly William Barnes, another local Blount landowner of the day.
