Recent documentation has led me to think this home was built in the Miser Station area and not in Binfield, as I once believed. Anyone familiar with the location of this house? In the photo are my 2nd great grandparents, James Cummins and Dorcas Key Anderson. To the right of my ggm is her daugther, Stella and son, Horace. Horace appears on the 1910 census living two households away from his parents and sister. For those of you new to the forum, the image is a thumbnail. Here is an except from a letter written by Charles Bishop Anderson in 1974 about he and his brother Mack providing lumber for a house built in Miser Station.
The reference to a picture would lead me to believe that this the house in the photo. Plus, the only children photoed included Horace (a nearby Miser Station neighbor) and Stella (still living with parents). A.E. was living in the Union Grove area with his family and Charlie, Mack, and J.R. had moved to CA by this time.
