I'm am looking for the Session Books of Big Springs Presbyterian Church. There were three volumes. The Big Springs Presbyterian Church was the Associate or Seceder Church before it was a Presbyterian church. The Big Springs church later combined with the Pistol Creek church. Reference: Inez Burns book, History of Blount County, Tennessee 1795-1955 Revised, pages 104-105. Burns said Session Books II and III were in the home of Roy Walker, church clerk (I assume in around the time of the first printing of the book in 1957). Would also like information on the early Seceder church in the 1790s and 1800s. Inez Burns said that Limestone Seceder Church in Jonesboro, TN was possibly the mother church of Big Springs.

April, I would be interested in the documentation you may come up with from Big Springs Church. My McConnell and Hair lines have deeps roots there. Thanks, Donny.
